Toni DasGupta
President, 4D Convergence
Toni DasGupta is currently President and CEO of
4D Convergence, Inc. Toni is a member of Tech Coast Angels, and the
Mentorship Chair for TiE-Southern California. She has a strong
background in operations in the fields of software and web
ecommerce. A serial entrepreneur, Toni has started 3 companies. She
founded WN Distribution, a distributor of specialized test hardware
and software solutions. She co-founded and headed the operations for
ZennComm Communications, a satellite company based. She was also
part of a venture fund in Northern California, where she invested in
and advised several startup companies. Prior to that, Toni was with
Schlumberger, where she directed hardware and software development
in product technology. Toni has a Ph.D. in Physics, MBA from UCLA,

Kevin Jacques
Partner, Palomar Ventures
Kevin Jacques is a partner with Palomar Ventures,
a leading Southern California based, early stage venture firm. Kevin
represents Palomar on the boards of Gamma Technologies, SkyeTek,
StorSpeed, and Zannel. Before joining Palomar, Kevin was the CEO of
GlobeRanger, a leading RFID middleware company. Previously, Kevin
was a partner with Sevin Rosen Funds in Texas . While at SRF, Kevin
led investments or played an active role with several companies,
including TruLogica (acquired by Hewlett Packard), Fuego (acquired
by BEA), InnerWireless, Traq Wireless, ExtaNet (fka Clearlinx), and
MetaCarta.
John Powell
Co-founder & Managing Director, Integral Capital Partners
John Powell is a co-founder and Managing Director
of Integral Capital Partners. Prior to forming Integral, John spent
nine years at T. Rowe Price Associates in various research and
portfolio management capacities. From March 1984 to March 1987, John
was assistant portfolio manager of the T. Rowe Price Growth Stock
Fund, a diversified growth fund whose assets grew to $1.6 billion
from a base of $900 million during that time. He was portfolio
manager of the T. Rowe Price Science & Technology Fund from
September 1987 to September 1988 and was portfolio manager of the T.
Rowe Price Small Cap Value Fund from June 1988 to August 1991. John
has a B.A. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and
an M.B.A. from the Darden Graduate School of Business Administration
of the University of Virginia. He serves as a Trustee of the Arts
and Sciences Foundation of the University of North Carolina. John is
a Chartered Financial Analyst.
Renee LaBran
Co-founder & Partner, Rustic Canyon Partners
Renée LaBran helped form Rustic Canyon in 1999,
following 15 years of strategy consulting and hands-on operating
experience. Ms. LaBran’s investment focus has been on software,
digital media and business and consumer services. Recently, Ms.
LaBran has led Rustic Canyon’s participation in RC/Fontis, a
later-stage fund investing in businesses targeting growing ethnic
markets. Prior to Rustic Canyon, Ms. LaBran held a variety of
executive positions with the Los Angeles Times/Times Mirror in the
areas of digital media, advertising, investments and strategic
planning. She was also a co-founder and served as CEO of
CareerBuilder, and a co-founder Classified Ventures. Prior to Times
Mirror, Ms. LaBran was a management consultant with the Monitor
Company and managed its Los Angeles office. Ms. LaBran graduated Phi
Beta Kappa with a B.S in Economics from the UC Berkeley, and M.B.A.
with honors from the Harvard Business School.

and 2007. Mr. Orlanski has published over 13 articles in following

The Review of Securities Regulations, The Journal of Buyouts &

represented clients in reverse merger, public stock offering, and
asset acquisition totaling over $268 million. Mr. Orlanski received
