Sid Mohasseb

Sid Mohasseb is the managing
director of Venture Farm LLC, an early stage execution and funding
organization. He is also an executive member of the Tech Coast
Angels. Formerly, Sid was the CEO of Vital Source, Inc., has served
as the Chairman / CEO of Competitive Knowledge Inc (CKI), and also,
founded the national management consulting firm of Anabasis-Straub.
Sid has been instrumental in numerous corporate acquisitions and
turnarounds, as both an investor/advisor and as an executive
operator. He has served on numerous corporate and advisory boards.
Mohasseb has authored several publications, he is also the architect
for the award-winning software solutions such as the Resource
Allocation model (RAM) and is co-credited for two pending business
process patents. He is a graduate of USC with a B.S. and a M.S.
degrees in Industrial Engineering / Operations Research and
Technical Economic Planning.

Adeel S. Akhtar specializes in patent
protection, and other forms of intellectual property protection, for
semiconductor-related technologies. Mr. Akhtar’s practice includes
strategic patent procurement, general counseling on infringement and
licensing issues, pre-litigation studies, intellectual property due
diligence studies and related negotiations for mergers and
acquisitions. Outside of this specialty area, Mr.
Akhtar also represents a number of clients in other technologies
ranging broadly from drug delivery platforms and water purification
to software inventions, seismic reinforcement for the construction
industry, food preparation and a variety of other fields.
Rajiv Dulepet

Rajiv Dulepet is the founder of WiseWindow Inc.,
a Santa Monica, CA based company whose mission is the capture
"Emerging Wisdom on the fly". He previously co-founded the
networking company Objectmart, which was later sold to CIENA
Corporation. He has 15 years of experience in internet technologies,
knowledge discovery, product development, and technical marketing at
Bell Labs, Microsoft, Tejas networks (India based communication
startup), and Deloitte. He was also an Industrial Affiliate with the
MS&E department at Stanford. Rajiv is also the creator of a very
popular health site, www.whoissick.org that has been reviewed by
BBC, Fox TV, Washington Post, LA Times, New York Times, and
mentioned by 100s of blogs and articles. Rajiv also spearheaded the
Stanford University effort to predict the 2004 U.S Presidential
Elections. He holds an M.S. in Computer Science from Texas Tech.
John Lown

John Lown is the Founder & CEO of Snapware.
John founded and established AutoAid in 1974. This business venture
grew into a small regional retail chain with a wholesale
distribution division that supplied automotive parts and accessories
to local auto parts retailers and independent automotive repair
shops. John sold AutoAid in 1989 to start a new career in
manufacturing and marketing inventions and product ideas. Founded
and built FloTool International in 1990. FloTool developed and
marketed key patented inventions. FloTool products are currently
sold throughout the world. In 1995 created the Snapware brand and
product concept as a product line division of FloTool Corporation
with the vision of building Snapware into a nationally recognized
brand of plastic home storage products. In 1999 John sold FloTool to
re-capitalize and focused on growing the Snapware Brand. John holds
35 patents and trademarks.
Dr. David Saad

Dr. David Saad started his career as a system
programmer. Prior to founding Clupedia, Dr. Saad founded Braintec in
1986. He developed ProofReader – a suite of utilities such as
spelling checker, grammar checker, style checker, dictionary, and a
thesaurus. Braintec focused on the fast growing and lucrative IT
consulting industry and became the largest Unix engineering firm in
Southern California. Braintec was sold to a NASDAQ company. Prior to
Braintec, Dr. Saad worked for Mathematica Products Group. Dr. Saad
earned a PhD in Computer Science with high honors from University of
Paris, an M.Sc.A. Cum Laude in Computer Science from McGill
University, a B.Sc. in Computer Science from Concordia University,
and a D.E.U.G. in Mathematics & Economics from University of Paris.
Dr. Saad speaks four languages. He had a very successful athletic
career in Judo. He has participated in the European Championships,
World Championships, Pan American Games, and the Olympic games.
Nilesh K. Shah

Formerly, he was the COO/CFO Blue Pumpkin Software. He is a seasoned
Senior Executive with in-depth experience in complex global
financial operations environment and systems. With 17-year
experience at Big 5 professional services firm, KPMG LLP, he
obtained diversified experience in designing and managing
sophisticated global financial transactions, mega-size M&A deals,
and corporate strategic decisions and working closely with senior
management at several Fortune 100 companies. Successfully led
corporate turn-around to profitability, reengineered several
corporate functions to re-align with revised corporate strategy. He
has completed successful M&A of an IPO-ready enterprise software
company, provided senior leadership and guidance, managed key
investor relations on Wall Street and Sand Hill Road, and managed
high-level relationships with prominent top-10 investment banks and
equity analysts. Nilesh is on the Board of several private
companies.
